*yawns* I woke up a bit too early to watch, but I sure as heck didn’t miss it! The dub airing of the Johto Festival Episode, known as “An Egg Scramble!” in English. Note to Cartoon Network: Seriously, 7am is too early. :| Hopefully I can keep waking up for these episodes though, it’s great to see Kotone (No, I will not call her Lyra)! To be honest, Kotone is the only reason I wanted to get up for this episode and the four more to air. ^^;> She’s just such a great character and I really do love Kotone. Anyways, moving along~

Alright! I’m going to merge this with the “Game GET!!” thing, because I sort of played my new game a lot. This weekend I had to go out to get a few things, and ended up at GameStop for the Shiny Pichu, and looked around a bit and spotted a really nice find! I was able to get PangYa! PSP for only $10! I jumped at the chance and bought it. It wasn’t something I was looking for specifically, but I had been interested in the game since it’s Korean Released way back. It crossed my mind while I was looking at the PSP games and I happened across it, can’t believe I found it for such a nice price! It’s a great game too, as you’ll see after the cut and a bit of Tartaros talk.

Let’s get this segment going! (^o^)/ So, today I played mostly iDOLM@STER. I was going to play Tartaros, but once I got everything else done for today, it’s pretty late and the channels are probably nearing capacity and likely laggy even with my home internet. I also checked, and I do have a final battle save file for Persona 3 (The Journey), and so I think I will challenge myself tomorrow from 11pm-12:01AM to beat the final boss in that time (Okay, maybe it’s not that hard, but I want the 1 hour time limit for the dork-y-ness of it). May record it, may not, I’m not sure yet. Though it’ll just be a camera pointed at a TV cause I don’t have any form of video capture device (maybe some day, but not today).

Well, as should be expected, things got pretty crazy. I’ve gotten busy, and to be honest, I haven’t really found any shows I care about watching and remembering to get the episodes for. I have, despite the new shows not really interesting me, been watching some anime, however it’s been things I don’t care to much to talk about, or I forgot about writing on it long enough I didn’t really remember the episode or what I would have wanted to say so I never wrote anything.
To be specific, I have watched the 5 Kotone episodes of Pokémon, which I’m planning to write about as the dub episodes air since they begin airing next weekend and I’m going to watch them anyways, and the entirety of Angelic Layer. Angelic Layer I watched over break, however I was also horrendously sick and barely had the energy at points to keep my head up and watching my laptop screen (I never thought I would say this, but thank goodness for dubs (even the crappy ones), I don’t think my brain could have handled subs at that time). I kind of wanted to write something on it, however, like I said, I was sick (and stayed sick for a few days after finishing the marathon) and wasn’t
up to writing a post on the entire series, and left it to a single tweet saying I finished it and that I like it better than the manga because there’s more character depth.
I may get around to collecting the remainder of the Tsubasa Cat arc of Bakemonogatari and finally finish that series at some point, however school work takes precedent over everything else, and it seems like I’m always having something to do that’s school-related. And for the cases I don’t? Well, I have games to play that have been keeping me away from watching more anime.
Which brings me to the other point I wanted to bring up. Since I did try to keep up with this once, but back when I was doing more anime watching than gaming, I’m going to try it again.
“It” being writing a post on what I do gaming-wise. It’s mostly because I feel that there’s more I want to say about the games I’m playing rather than the “I Bought it” and later the “This is my opinion on the whole thing”. These’ll prolly have spoilers (read: will have spoilers), and will just be something I put together to say what I’ve been doing in the gaming world. I can’t really set a schedule for it because my gaming has been thrown out of a schedule due to my class set up this semester, however I’ll post when I can and try to make at least one a week.
So yeah, that’s it. I’m still alive, still (sorta) watching anime, and still playing video games. I haven’t really posted anything in nearly a month, so I want to try and post something.
Game GET!! — Christmas Edition

Well, as expected, Christmas comes and with it comes presents. And with me, games have a 100% chance of appearing, no matter the year, so now I’ll talk about them! I’ve gotten the time to start up the three games I got this year, so I have a little bit to say about them already!
So let’s go beyond the cut for a little bit about these games: Katamari Forever, Pokémon Platinum, and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky~!
Game Review — Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days

WARNING: SPOILERS WILL FOLLOW. I’m not going to hold back for this because to be honest I’m not going to be able to say all that I want to without spoiling some things. If you choose to read on, don’t complain because I’ve warned you.
Anyways, I got this just about the time it released. But I hadn’t finished it until now. Heck, I barely even touched it until recently, because all I’ve been thinking is “I really should finish KHDS, just to get it out of the way.” So… I did. Argh not sure this was my best decision ever, but it’s over and I now know the ending. I can take the cartridge out of my DS and say good riddance. I’m done with this game, and will likely never look back.
So, follow me beyond the cut for an adventure into Organization 13… or something.
MokuCon ‘09

This is a min-con my anime club hosts in the campus center, so yeah, it’s not really known. But I feel I should write SOMEthing about it, because I really did enjoy it. It was small, and yeah I was in the Karaoke room half of the day (and the other half just hanging by the info desk xD), but totally enjoyable. It still had that convention feel while at the same time not being crazy huge.
So, let’s see, what can I talk about… xD I guess I can really only talk in-detail about the Karaoke room stuff, but my brain’s still half asleep, so I can only remember a few things. The contest was awesome sauce, and I somehow remembered all the dance and words to Seikan Hikou still and got second place. I think I screwed up a few lines but it was better than my AN09 performance where I screwed up and made it obvious… ^^;;>
After the contest a group of three girls, who I’ve seen before, now calling themselves “Promise” performed a few songs. Very well done and everyone ended up joining in clapping or snapping our fingers to the beat. xD Following the contest, America from Hetalia Rickroll’d the room (which is already on youtube), and as people were thinning out I managed to get the Nico Nico Douga Medley sang, though sadly I don’t think anyone recorded it. D: Also the original pokemon song was sung by the hetalia group, which also got the entire room singing. xD
Following that all I really did was hang around thinking I should back and read an essay for my class. After about 2 hours of saying that to myself I decided to screw it and just stay. Not much else happened, so I’ll leave it at that. It was a great day, even though I’m still sort of tired. :P
Game Review — Pokémon SoulSilver (JP)

This is a little over-due, but ah well, I remembered I should do this, and am going to now. This is going to be a brief review of Pokemon SoulSilver. There’s not a lot I can say about it really, since I only understand bits and pieces across the entire game, but I feel like I should make a post on the game as a whole anyways. There will still be a HG (US) post when I get that and finish it, of course.
Game GET!! — 358/2 Days
September 30, 2009 at 11:08 pm | In Games | 2 CommentsTags: ds, Game, kingdom hearts, kingdom hearts 358/2 days
Got this game as well now (oh geez, now I’m conflicted, Pokemon or Kingdom Hearts?), and started it. Rather interesting game play I have to say, it keeps some things the same while bringing in rather different elements to make this game just and quirky as Chain of Memories. It’s interesting not playing Sora for once, though granted the player is Roxas, who is practically Sora anyways. It’s also a rather interesting start considering this is the story of Roxas right after Sora became a heartless back in KHI, during which Roxas is still an ORG.13 member.
It may be the fact it’s a Kingdom Hearts game, it may be because it’s Square-Ennix, but I’m enjoying this game so far, and am excited to see where this all ends up.
Game GET!! — An Idol, a Persona, and some Pokemon
September 25, 2009 at 10:29 pm | In Games, Pokemon | 3 CommentsTags: amazing, dearly stars, ds, games, idolmaster, loli, persona, pokémon, psp, soulsilver, trap
All in one day! *is having game overload* I have had time to play each one for a couple of hours, so I’ll give a quick opinion on each.
Let’s start with THE iDOLM@STER: Dearly Stars for the DS. I didn’t get as far as the other two games, but anyways. I started story mode with Ai. Besides her being to freaking loud, I quite like the change in role for this game. Also all the 360/L4U type of camera/vocals control is really nice and interesting to play with. I’ll have to get used to it.
Secondly, Shin Megami Tensei: Persona for the PSP. On the ride home I opened up the sucker and played for literally an hour and a half straight. Not nearly as long as any constant play I’ve done on my console Persona games, but hey, it’s a portable game (and there was a cute little puppy wanting a little attention too~). The battle system is much different than I’m used to, but I think I can get used to it. The characters are interesting along with the story. I can’t wait to see the story develop. Also liking the music, though I hear those who’ve played the original don’t like it
as much.
And lastly, Pokemon SoulSilver for the DS. The game I’ve been impatient for. This thing fulfills my wishes and oh so much more. I really can’t say much other than omg it’s amazing. xD
