So, it came out in English a few weeks back and I’ve finished the majority of it. Actually, I finished the majority of it in a week, but that’s besides the point. I’ve been working on other parts to the game recently, so whatever. Since I already technically reviewed this game, since HeartGold and SoulSilver are really not that different, this is kind of a repeat sort of thing, with a bit more detail.
The Japanese SoulSilver post is here.

WARNING: SPOILERS WILL FOLLOW. I’m not going to hold back for this because to be honest I’m not going to be able to say all that I want to without spoiling some things. If you choose to read on, don’t complain because I’ve warned you.
Anyways, I got this just about the time it released. But I hadn’t finished it until now. Heck, I barely even touched it until recently, because all I’ve been thinking is “I really should finish KHDS, just to get it out of the way.” So… I did. Argh not sure this was my best decision ever, but it’s over and I now know the ending. I can take the cartridge out of my DS and say good riddance. I’m done with this game, and will likely never look back.
So, follow me beyond the cut for an adventure into Organization 13… or something.

This is a little over-due, but ah well, I remembered I should do this, and am going to now. This is going to be a brief review of Pokemon SoulSilver. There’s not a lot I can say about it really, since I only understand bits and pieces across the entire game, but I feel like I should make a post on the game as a whole anyways. There will still be a HG (US) post when I get that and finish it, of course.

Geez I’ve been ripping through new games real fast lately. Anyways, now that I have completed story mode I will give this amazing game a proper review. So let’s get to it!

I’ve had the game for a couple of days, but in this case, I’ve just been playing it non-stop and there really was no point into giving it a quick overview since it really only takes a couple hours before you hit the credits (unless you’re REALLY REALLY bad at rhythm games). But that’s not to say it’s bad because there’s lots to do with this game, even if you’ve Hard/Perfect-ed all the songs. Okay, well maybe not LOTS, but there’s still stuff to do.
Anyways, let’s move beyond the cut, and for once I don’t have to warn of spoilers since there is no real plot. xD;

Let me tell you, I have not put this game down for over a week. It’s challenging (Either that or I fail at strategy, both are options), has a plot that grabs you in, and a wide spectrum of interesting and realistic characters. I really enjoyed this game, despite the major agravation and frustration it gave me to finish it. I do plan later on to go back and complete every route (There’s 4 major endings), but right now I’ll enjoy my victory and take on some other games (Like Project Diva, which should be arriving at my house someday soon!)
Follow the cut for a review of sorts, warning spoilers may be included.

After waaaay to long, I finally got around to finishing The Journey. After finishing this post, I’ll be off to work on The Answer, which should (Hopefully) take up a bit less time. There’s most likely going to be spoilers no matter how hard I try not to, so please read at your own discretion. I’m going to try not to say huge spoilers, but somethings may be necessary to explain a couple of my points.
(this is a space filler xD)

After nearly two weeks of almost constant play, I have finished this amazing game. (And no, I’m not kidding on the almost constant play, my parents actually today told me to lay off it a little because I was getting bug eyed over it) I will try to keep spoilers to a minimum, but I think some points will have to be included, so please don’t read it all if you don’t want to be spoiled.
As a begining note, this game had better win some awards. Not only does it have you pushing yourself for the end, but after it’s all done it makes you think about yourself as well.

Okay, okay, so this game’s pretty old now. Gimme a break, it’s been a long while since I last played this, but I had the sudden idea “Hey, I want to finish that Proud Mode game I have on KHII.” Until now I have not seen the secret ending (I refused to watch it until I earned it), so I suppose it’s good I finally got around to this. So my memory may be a bit fuzzy on the details of all the worlds 1st visits, and some of the early 2nd visits, but that’s okay. It’s not like anyone who cares doesn’t already know.
So, just as a warning, Spoilers are ahead.

Touhou is pretty well known, and TH7 is probably the most known out of all of them. You can find versions online with an english patch (Which mine is), and it runs as a 800×600 game. Not the greatest graphics in the world, but the music is superb. Personal favorite is “Phantom Ensemble”, the Prismriver Sisters’ Theme Song.
