After this episode, I fell in love with this series~ Possibly more then After Story. x3 Mizuki’s replaced Chihiro as my fave ef girl for sure. Also, again I love the cool color effects that they’re doing. Interesting and adds style.

As for the OP, not my favorite “ef” song, but it’s growing on me. Elisa’s English seems worse then euphoric field… :/ ebullient future’s really slur-ish and hard to understand. There wasn’t an ED in this episode, but also take note the OP was halfway through the show. xD;; If they do EDs and OPs like last season, it’ll be cool, but still weird like last season. I think each girl had their own ED, right?

https://i2.wp.com/i2.photobucket.com/albums/y26/Chibi-Meower/blog/melo_e001_s001.pngAnyways, so episode 1. We begin with a flashback from Yuu, the guy with that nun-looking girl. She comes up to Yuu and says stuff along the lines of “You don’t know me, but I know you.” Says her name, Yuuko, and also says “I hate you for what you did Yuu.” We don’t really find out what Yuu did, but whatever.

https://i2.wp.com/i2.photobucket.com/albums/y26/Chibi-Meower/blog/melo_e001_s003.pngWe also meet Nagi, a member of the art club who, I think, Yuu likes. She’s nekkid when Yuu arrives to art club (LOL), drawing a self portrait of herself. Yuu tells her to put some clothes on, and after a bit of bickering she agrees and puts her seifuku back on. Nagi gets Yuu to come shopping with her, and after that we see the two, and Nagi says that a girl’s been following them, Yuuko. She talks for a bit, and then takes Yuu to the ocean. Yuu finally remembers what he did to her, but we’re not told what. He returns to the present day, and is talking to Kuze-san about fermatas or whatever (“I’m a fermata, hold me” [/lame joke]) and cut to the OP.

Yeah, the OP’s in the middle. Deal with it, Shaft does things funny.

https://i2.wp.com/i2.photobucket.com/albums/y26/Chibi-Meower/blog/melo_e001_s006.pngOn the flipside we see a weird “nighmare” of this girl’s. She’s falling in water (I think), and wakes up in Renji’s place. Yeah, Renji who’s with Chihiro. Anyways, so Mizuki starts asking where she is and stuff, she’s Renji’s cousin, blah blah blah, and Australia. :/ I thought he was kidding in that. Hokays, whatever. I didn’t think it was australia, but whatever. xD; Anyways, returning to the story, Mizuki seems to have a thing where she sprouts cat ears, in this super-pink tiny scene. Adorable~ Weird, but adorable.

https://i0.wp.com/i2.photobucket.com/albums/y26/Chibi-Meower/blog/melo_e001_s008.pngAnyways, since Renji has something to do, she’s taken over to Kuze’s. They talk for a bit, and the the seifuku room. He says he’s in the process of getting rid of the seifukus, however Mizuki says he should keep them. xP She changes in two of his seifukus, both of which are extremly adorable, plus she does mahou-shoujo-like changes! Excuse me while I screen cap the hell out of her seifuku changes. They’s so cute.

https://i1.wp.com/i2.photobucket.com/albums/y26/Chibi-Meower/blog/melo_e001_s017.pngMoving along, She asks him to play for her, but he says he doesn’t want to and stuff. Seifuku change to blue, and they get something to eat/drink. Well, more drink, all Kuze’s got is Alchohol and Juice…. oh and Ice. They then lay on the floor and start talking about life. About how people take on masks when they are around people and they become part of themselves. Very, very, beautiful and well said/scripted. Awsome lines writers! And good translation, translators! Anyways, Mizuki goes Neko-Shoujo on us, and her cat years become visible for more then the pink animation.

Um, some stuff about fermatas again… and end episode.
