Well, as expected, Christmas comes and with it comes presents. And with me, games have a 100% chance of appearing, no matter the year, so now I’ll talk about them! I’ve gotten the time to start up the three games I got this year, so I have a little bit to say about them already!
So let’s go beyond the cut for a little bit about these games: Katamari Forever, Pokémon Platinum, and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky~!
Game Review — Pokémon SoulSilver (JP)

This is a little over-due, but ah well, I remembered I should do this, and am going to now. This is going to be a brief review of Pokemon SoulSilver. There’s not a lot I can say about it really, since I only understand bits and pieces across the entire game, but I feel like I should make a post on the game as a whole anyways. There will still be a HG (US) post when I get that and finish it, of course.
Game GET!! — An Idol, a Persona, and some Pokemon

All in one day! *is having game overload* I have had time to play each one for a couple of hours, so I’ll give a quick opinion on each.
Let’s start with THE iDOLM@STER: Dearly Stars for the DS. I didn’t get as far as the other two games, but anyways. I started story mode with Ai. Besides her being to freaking loud, I quite like the change in role for this game. Also all the 360/L4U type of camera/vocals control is really nice and interesting to play with. I’ll have to get used to it.
Secondly, Shin Megami Tensei: Persona for the PSP. On the ride home I opened up the sucker and played for literally an hour and a half straight. Not nearly as long as any constant play I’ve done on my console Persona games, but hey, it’s a portable game (and there was a cute little puppy wanting a little attention too~). The battle system is much different than I’m used to, but I think I can get used to it. The characters are interesting along with the story. I can’t wait to see the story develop. Also liking the music, though I hear those who’ve played the original don’t like it
as much.
And lastly, Pokemon SoulSilver for the DS. The game I’ve been impatient for. This thing fulfills my wishes and oh so much more. I really can’t say much other than omg it’s amazing. xD
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time — Game Review Part 1

Yesterday after my mom and sister went to church, they headed over to GameStop to look for some stuff. Both me and my sister have fallen back in love with Pokémon with the release of Daimond/Pearl (I got Pearl, she got Daimond), and the new Mystery Dungeon releases came out yesterday. (Somewhat) Amazingly, GameStop had them in-stock and non-pre-orderers were able to buy it. My sister picked up Explorers of Darkness for herself and Explorers of Time for me. I was excited because I might actually finish this Mystery Dungeon game. I still have Blue Team sitting around half-finished (I’m a Pikachu named Jamie with a Chikorita named Meower as my Partner).
Anyways, without further ado, here’s my review of the game so far.
